Rachael Rage & The Magic City Mad Men Origin Story
The Magic City Mad Men are Mickey Centrella on upright bass, Marc Magellan on guitar and Donald Lutton on drums. Rachael put an ad on the Miami Craigslist in 2015 looking for players for a rockabilly band. These guys helped her take her ideas from her head and out into the air and even recorded.
They would perform around Miami at venues such as Wetlab, Churchills Pub and Kill Your Idol. The band was a musical act at the Hillary 2016 rally in downtown Miami.
In 2016 they won best act at the downtown Miami Buskerfest and would perform at subsequent Buskerfest events throughout the years. Rachael Rage and the Magic City Mad Men headlined the Cultra event at the Tina Hills Pavillion in Bayfront Park Miami in 2017.
They recorded an album that Rachael is currently mixing herself. The songs are due to be released in Fall 2023. You can listen to Let’s Play Doctor now on all major music streaming platforms.
